Melissa Hall
Head of Paraplanning - Chartered Financial Planner
I started working in financial services at the young age of 16 years and 3 months, making the tea, filing and sorting the post!! I quickly developed an interest in the industry and held the Financial Planning Certificate by age 19.
Having had various roles including advising, my passion is paraplanning. I joined The Timebank in April 2011 and during this time I have continued my studies and am now a Chartered Financial Planner.
Starting out as a Paraplanner, I am now Head of Paraplanning so spend less time paraplanning, working with only a few firms that I have looked after over many years.
Managing the team gives me the opportunity to develop new members who come on board and help them learn our processes as well as those of the advisers we work with. I enjoy building long term relationships with advisers and getting to know how their business works so that we can help them achieve the best possible client outcomes. I work with our team to help them get the best out of working with the advisers remotely so that we can provide an efficient service.
Outside of work, you will find me either walking my two dogs, Frankie and Benny or lifting weights in the gym. I am also a bit of a social butterfly, enjoying a glass or two of wine with friends.
